THE SIR STAV LEAGUE
Come on guys, Stav's Worst score their lowest total in months (years even) and no-one can even come close to getting near him? I still can't explain how he scores 28 and still leads by 15?
Do we fork out the money now or is someone going to have a crack? Can I make it any clearer that I do NOT want this muppet winning again?
Don't even get me started on his mate Evra not shaking hands with Liverpool legend Luis Suarez! Come on guys can someone knock him off his perch?
Keep an eye on current fourth place Metim-ada-Gaybar who are sneaking under the radar at the moment with some handy recent results. The same goes for George's Gkagi and Joe's Biatches who are always thereabouts.
Some good news now in that I have finally got myself on the podium for Team of the Week with a second highest 67 for the week. Only to be beaten by Nicolas' Soy Celeste who scored a very impressive 75 helped by Adabeyor who had a blinder. Freddie D's All Stars also scored well with a 65.
I have to sing my own praises here a little by highlighting that my defence scored 44 points by themselves. Not a bad return from Freidal, Lescott, Shawcross and Assou-Ekotto with the latter 3 all scoring goals. That's a first for me for sure.

A slight change in the leader this week with Tsirigotis taking the lead with 46 points from Champix FC and Aussie Winners on 45.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
The first leg of our quarter finals has been completed and the teams taking a lead into the second leg are Muppet Squad, Gaybar Boyz Gkagi and Bears Biatches. You can see the results HERE.
This weekend (week 26) will be the second leg.
TRANSFER POINTS
As always your score for the week takes into account any transfer points lost for the week. So your score will be the same score that you get in the head to head league and not the main league. In other words you need to watch your transfer points when playing in the Champions League.
KNOCK OUT TIE BREAKER
If points are level for any of the knock out stage the higher placed team is determined by:-
- Least amount of transfers made during both weeks.
- Goals scored by players in your team.
- Points scored by your captain.
- Points scored by your goalkeeper.
- Coin toss.

EUROPA LEAGUE
OK so the final 32 teams have been decided for the Europa League. To save me some time and hassle I've decided to use a web based tournament generator tool which basically does the draw for me randomly and updates the knock out bracket for me once I enter the scores.
I'll use this as a bit of a trial and if it doesn't work I'll go back to doing manually.
You will need to zoom in to view so I could fit it all on one page.
Just a reminder that this is a one game knock out and transfer points WILL be calculated towards your score for the week.
First round will occur this week - week 26 (25th Feb).
1ST ROUND DRAW IS HERE

FA CUP
There will also be an FA Cup comp starting in a few weeks. This will include all 50 teams and be a one game knock out. The difference with the FA Cup will be that transfer points WILL NOT apply and your score is determined by your score for that week.
There will be a playoff round to start the comp including the teams in the bottom of the league and will then drop down to 32/16/8/4 and 2 teams. This is scheduled to start in week 30.
Prizes
I am close to getting this finalised. I just have to make sure I have time to do FA Cup and Europa Cup before I decide on the minor prizes. What I can say is first prize will be a minimum $750-$800.
