Grand Finals and Finals this Weekend 5-6 Sept

Good luck to our teams contesting their finals and Grand Finals this weekend. 6 Sans Souci teams will play Grand Finals this weekend with 4 of those being our girls teams.

Under 9D's v Penshurst West

This should be cracker of a game between the two teams who finished on top of the ladder at the end of the season. Only one point separated them at the end of the year and both teams have solid defences. Should be a great game.

Under 9A's v Scots FC

This was a very close competition with the 9A lads running third in the comp table and Scots winning the minor premiership. Our boys defeated Connells Point last week to qualify for the Grand Final and we hope they can come home with a win.

Under 12B Girls v Connells Point

Our under 12 girls have gone through the season undefeated thusfar including a win over Connells Point in the major semi. They will play Connells again in the Grand Final and we have high hopes that the girls will go through the whole season without a loss.

Under 14B Girls v Carss Park

Our under 14 girls were another team to have a great year by not losing a game in the regular season but then were beaten 2-0 by arch rivals Carss Park in the major semi two weeks ago. One of the most anticipated grand final clashes for Sans Souci this weekend.

Under 16C Girls v Penshurst West

Another undefeated team are our under 16 girls who have had a massive season with no losses and only 2 goals being scored against them. They progressed to the Grand Final after beating Penshurst West in the semi final 6-0. We fully expect the girls to win this one.

Under 18G Girls v Forest Rangers

Our under 18 girls have a tough game against Forest Rangers who won the minor premiership by three points and had gone through the season with only one loss. But our girls took out the major semi final two weeks ago with a 1-0 victory to show Rangers they will need to be on their game to come away with the win.

Good luck to all our teams this weekend including our under 10B's and our Under 13A's who have their finals as well.

Get out and support your club even if your team has finished for the year. There are plenty of games to choose from so wear your red and green and go along and give your support.

There are plenty of our girls out there playing this weekend too and it is a credit to the club that we have such a successful female program. It's such a shame the all age women weren't able to complete the picture with a grand final themselves.

Make sure you applaud good play from both sides and don't forget to thank the officials for giving up their time.
