Finals Results for last weekend

Well done to all teams who contested their semi finals last weekend.

We had some fantastic results including the Premier League Reserve team who defeated Scots FC 5-0 in what was a massive result to qualify for the Grand Final in two weeks time. A special mention must go to Marcelo Alvarez who scored 4 first half goals to put the game beyond doubt within 40 minutes including a goal in the first 30 seconds. A dishonourable mention for the penalty he missed to try and get his fifth goal (whoever said greed is good).

Congratulations also to our All Age A team who defeated Forest Rangers 3-1 in their major semi to book a place in the grand final in 2 weeks time as well.

In other news:-

• Under 13A's are straight through to the Grand Final after a 2-1 win over Connells Point.
• Under 12 Girls also defeated Connells Point to qualify for the Grand Final.
• Under 11B's defeated Penshurst West 3-1 to also go straight through to the Grand Final
• Our under 18's team smashed Banksia Tigers 10-0 in their semi and they will play the preliminary final next week against Connells Point.
• Unfortunately both our Under 18 and under 16 girls teams were beaten in their knock out semi final.
• Our Over 35A's and B's have both missed out on progressing after the B team lost 2-1 to Lugarno and the A's drew 2-2 with Hurstville Glory.

Plenty more semi finals to complete this weekend and we will keep you informed of progress.
